By now, the exams all pan out with the same numbing inevitability as they do every year. At least in the circles we move in.

Blah blah exams blah, Internet blah, lack of, blah blah, congrats on everyone who knows they did well/is denying they did well and I had to get up at some godforsaken time in the morning to get my results (Boston blah), so I think I should get an extra pat on the back. For being great. And conscious. 'N stuff.

And well done Trisha, for getting full marks in English and/or RS, and if I hear you bemoan your appalling performance in either subject's exam again, strange luck-bringing ritual or no, I swear I'm gonna kill yer.

See, next year when I walk into your room 2 days before english and you are panicking, I will simply give you a look that says 'remember last year? And the year before that?'

Give yourself some credit before the marks come out, love, you work damn hard and that's admirable enough without the grades. <3
